Destin Surf Side Resort Unit 207 Rental Contract

NOTE: If Damage Insurance is not purchased, a $1500 Security Deposit is required in addition to the rental payment that will be refunded 7 days after checkout.

1. Check-In Date: agreed upon in submitted calendar after 4pm. Check-Out Date: agreed upon in submitted calendar prior to 10 am.

2. Smoking is not permitted in the unit.

3. Pets are not permitted in the rental unit.

4. Renter must be 25 years of age or older.

5. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- To ensure that the proper party is held responsible, please notify the owner of any damage found at check-in. You agree damage not covered by, or exceeding the limit of, the accidental rental damage policy/security deposit is your full responsibility. This may include damage or loss occurring during your stay, violations of house rules or policies, additional cleaning fees, and/or any fines or other costs incurred by the behavior of you or any other occupant during your stay in violation of laws or other regulations. You grant the owners the right to charge the credit card number used to book the Vacation Rental for any such damages, including, but not limited to, additional cleaning fees. A damage claim CAN BE made against your rental fee under these conditions. Claim rights are not limited to these conditions.

a. damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear

b. charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay

c. debris, rubbish and discards are not placed in the trash chute or dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and not cleaned

d. wrist bands are not returned.

e. linens are lost, damaged or soiled

f. early check-in and/or late check-out

g. furniture has been moved

h. the renter is evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), local law enforcement, or the security company employed by Destin Surfside Resort

i. the renter’s use of the property in any manner which would disturb or otherwise be a nuisance to the occupants of adjoining properties.

j. Unit is left locked

6. PAYMENT – The 1st Payment is due at the time of booking. The 2nd payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. The cost of Damage Insurance will be collected with the 1st payment. If A $500 Security Deposit is required, it will be added to the 2nd to the rental payment that will be refunded 7 days after checkout.

7. CANCELLATIONS: Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 15 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately.

8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to six (6) persons.

9. If a rental is taken for less than the stated minimum period as per the booking site, the minimum rental period will be assessed regardless of the rental period booked.

10. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup and Amenity fees.

11. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not allow towels or linens to be taken from the unit for use at the pool or beach. A charge will be assessed for missing linens.

12. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.

13. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.

14. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above-mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance by the owner.

15. PARKING – Parking for 2 vehicles is on a first come first serve basis.

16. HURRICANE AND STORM POLICY - No refunds will be given. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

Covid 19 agreement: We as owners are adhering to and instructing our housekeeping company to follow strict recommendations for disinfection.

By agreeing to this rental contract, you are entering at your own risk. I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy above. I have read my rights to purchase travel insurance.

By making payment for rental of the unit, I agree to all terms and conditions of this agreement.
