Both of our cabins are located in Beaver Valley, a small cabin area in the Tonto National Forest. There is hiking right out the door. You can walk leisurely down trails with awesome views of the surrounding mountains and river or you can challenge yourself and hike to the cave at the top of the rim. The nearby waterfalls are a must see. Just follow the river up stream about one mile and you are there.ATV's are welcomed. There are hundreds of miles of trails to ride. The trails start just off the driveway. You'll be able to ride through the biggest Ponderosa Pine National Forest in the world. Keep your eyes open for elk, they are everywhere.Both cabins have great access to the East Verde River The river is small most of the time (more like a creek) but it can get really big with some rain (be careful). The river is stocked with trout for all the fishermen. There is so much to do here, you're going to need a week to take it all in. The cabins are located 6 miles from the town of Payson where there are grocery stores, fine dining, movie rentals, movie theater, golf, fast food etc...
