The Legends of Santa Rosa Beach Town Homes Association

To ensure public health, safety and overall enjoyment during your stay at The Legends, we ask you to read and adhere to the terms of this document.

Failure to adhere to these policies may result in fines being levied.

Pools

  1. Pool and spa hours are 7 am to 10 pm.
  2. Excessive noise is prohibited at any time.
  3. Children under 12 are to be supervised at all times in the pool area by a responsible adult.
  4. Small children are to use “Swim Diapers” while in the pool area.
  5. Pregnant women and small children should not use the spas.
  6. All food, candy, gum and soap are prohibited in the fenced pool areas.
  7. No glass or beverages other than bottled water are permitted in the pool area.
  8. No pets are allowed in the pools, spas, or in the pool areas.
  9. Items left in the pool areas over night may be considered abandoned and discarded. 10. The Health Department will force pool closure for broken glass and /or bacteria. Special costs for such services will be levied against the responsible party.

Pets are not allowed.

General Grounds

  1. Trash is to be collected and thrown into the Dumpster located in the gravel driveway.
  2. No trash is to be left in the carports, on decks or anywhere else on grounds.
  3. Please store personal items appropriately; an excessive amount of personal property should not remain in the carport areas for extended periods.
  4. Parking is limited to the gravel areas and cement carports. Extra vehicles are to park parallel to the building on the North side of the gravel drive.
  5. Parking is prohibited within three car lengths to the front of the Dumpster.
  6. Trailers, small moving vans, and recreational vehicles are permitted to park parallel to the buildings to the far side (Northern most side) of the gravel drive for up to one week only.
  7. Guests and owners of Recreational vehicles are not to “hook-up” to power and water and live in the vehicle while it’s parked at the Legends.
  8. No Broken down vehicles may be stored at the Legends, either on or off the concrete parking deck. No vehicles with flat tires or up on blocks. All vehicles must be licensed.

Grills

  1. Gas grills are provided for your use in the common area. No Charcoal is to be used in the gas grills.
  2. Please use the ground level gas valve on each grill to open for use and then close gas flow after use.
  3. Personal grill use is limited to the picnic area only and not on any decks, carports, or boardwalk.
  4. Food waste from grills should be placed in dumpster rather than in pool trash cans.

Tennis and Volley Ball Court

  1. No hanging, pulling, or draping items on the nets.
  2. Use of courts is limited to their respective sports.
  3. No pets allowed on tennis court.
  4. Only smooth soled tennis shoes allowed on tennis court. No heeled shoes or golf shoes allowed on the court.
  5. There is to be no rollerblading, skateboarding, or bicycling on tennis court.
  6. Players are to relock both court gates when finished. Contact your owner or manager for the current combination lock code for the tennis court.

Tobacco

  1. Smoking is not allowed inside the unit.
  2. Collect and Discard all cigar and cigarette butts and associated trash in a proper fireproof trash receptacle.
  3. Fines up to $100.00 may be issued for discarding butts anywhere on Legends property; pool decks, balconies, garden/natural areas or driveway.

Noise Ordinance

In accordance with the Walton County Noise Ordinance we ask that you be considerate of others during the daytime hours of 7 am to 10 pm, as well as the evening hours 10 pm to 7am. Please keep noise levels to a legal limit and insure your activities are in accordance with others rights to the peaceful enjoyment of The Legends Property. This ordinance pertains to unit interiors and all common areas i.e.

the pools and spas, grill areas, decks and boardwalk, and all other recreation areas.

PAYMENTS

At the time of your reservation, 50% of rental amount is due and 60 days prior to your arrival date, the remaining balance will be due in full. Check in time is 4PM and check out time is 10 Am. The entrance code will be provided prior to check in. Full refund of deposit will be given if reservation is cancelled more than 60 days prior to check in.

HURRICANE/STORM POLICY:

Guests may need to be evacuated in the event of severe weather. Refunds will be given if a mandatory evacuation is issued in a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Area” by the National Weather Service. Owner will refund:

Any unused portion of rent for a guest that is currently in residence and is forced to evacuate early

Any unused portion of rent from a Guest who is scheduled to arrive and must shorten their stay until after the evacuation order is lifted

Travel Insurance provided by TRAVEL GUARD:
Every year, snowstorms, hurricanes and other unexpected weather events cause travelers to delay, interrupt or even cancel their trips completely. Accidental Rental Damage Insurance

Accidental damage protection is included for any damages or accidents, subject to exclusions and limitations that occur to the premises during your rental period up to $3,000. Any damage or accident that is not covered under the policy will be the responsibility of the leaseholder.
