Panama City Beach Getaway Unit 1702– Rental Agreement
Terms and Conditions
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age and must stay during entire booking. Owners are local and age confirmation may be required upon check-in. Rentals booked under false pretenses will result in forfeiture of ALL payments ($$$).
- Only the guests registered with owner are permitted to stay overnight in unit. Primary renter must advise owner if there are changes after booking. Owner reserves the right to cancel the reservation (2.5% fee will be deducted from all refunds) due to guest changes, therefore it is advisable to contact owner prior to making final payment. Maximum of 8 registered guests may stay in unit – this is Fire Code and is non-negotiable.
- A written request for cancellation received 30 days or more in advance will result in a full refund (minus 2.5% processing fee). And a written request for cancellation received more than 14 days will result in a 50% refund (minus 2.5% processing fee). Less than 14 days – no refund. If cancellation is due to a documented emergency (owner discretion re: acceptable proof), you may reschedule your week at a later date (date subject to availability/owner discretion).
- We do not refund for inclement weather. EXCEPTION: If Panama City Beach orders an evacuation due to an incoming hurricane, we will refund the portion of your stay that is lost.
- Animals/Pets are NOT allowed in the unit under ANY condition Any evidence of animals or pets will result in loss of security deposit, AND charges for additional cleaning/disinfecting of the unit.
- If Boardwalk Beach Resort Security/Law Enforcement/owner determines that a guest has acted in an inappropriate manner and requires guest to leave property it will result in forfeiture of ALL payments $$$.
- Fifty percent (50%) deposit due upon booking. The remainder of payment is due 30 days prior to check-in or upon booking (if less than 30 days)
- Three-hundred and fifty dollars ($350) security deposit is required. If damage to the unit results in a loss of rental revenue in following weeks (during repair time) renter will be held liable for all lost revenue (rent, cleaning fees and taxes). Owner shall bill guest for additional charges beyond $350 security deposit. If legal action is necessary in order to recoup billed charges, guest will be responsible for all legal fees.
- Check-in is 4:00 P.M./Check-out is 10:00 A.M. Guest agrees not to attempt to enter the unit prior to 4:00 P.M. unless already agreed upon (in writing) by owner. Guest understands that owners are local and that the owners may be in unit if guests attempt to enter early. Guest agrees to vacate the unit by 10:00 A.M. unless already agreed upon (in writing) by owner. Cleaning takes place immediately after checkout time. Any cleaning delays created by guest’s late departure will result in a charge of $50 per half hour.
- Parking is on the Boardwalk Beach Resort premises. Completed parking pass will be included in the Guest Package which will be awaiting your arrival at the Boardwalk Beach Resort Security Guard Entry Point. Guest must notify owner prior to arrival if more than one parking pass is needed. Additional parking passes cost $25.00 per pass and will be charged to the guest. Vehicles not displaying a parking pass may be towed. Towing fees are the responsibility of guests.
- Wristbands must be worn when utilizing amenities (pool/fitness center). The Fitness Center is for guests 18 and older. Access to the fitness center is with an access card provided by owner. Guest must notify owner prior to arrival if plan to utilize the Fitness Center so access card can be left in the unit. Lost/missing/damaged/reactivation of access card will result in a $75.00 charge. Wristbands will only be provided for the # of guests registered to unit. If guests need owner to leave additional wristbands (up to 8) for visitors, they must notify owner prior to arrival, (each extra wrist band is an additional $1.00 each) keeping in mind that visitors may not stay overnight in unit without prior permission from owner. The wristbands will be in the unit awaiting your arrival.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the unit or on the balcony. Evidence of smoking will result in loss of entire security deposit, as well as additional billed charges should additional cleaning/deodorizing be required. The Boardwalk Beach Resort is a smoke-free facility with the exception of a designated smoking area located on the ground floor between the parking garage and the elevator.
- Luggage carts are not allowed inside units. Guests will be charged for damage caused by luggage carts.
- Balcony Safety is critical. For safety reasons, guest are strongly encouraged not to allow unattended children on the balcony. It is prohibited for anyone to stand on chairs, tables, or lean over the balcony railing. Boardwalk Beach Resort Security is TIGHT! Throwing anything from the balcony is prohibited. There are cameras below and Security will come straight to the unit. NOTE: Guests who violate balcony policy by allowing unattended children on the balcony, or who stands on chairs or tables, or lean over the balcony do so at their own personal risk and may at the discretion of Boardwalk Beach Resort Security be evicted from the premises and forfeit any rent or damage deposits monies.
- Linens (sheets and bath towels) are provided. Bath towels/linens are not to be taken from the unit. Amount of linens provided is determined by # of guests registered to stay in unit.
- Unit is inventoried by owner prior to and after your stay. Charges will be incurred for missing/lost/broken items.
- Basic starter supplies are provided (1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, dishwasher pods (2), laundry detergent pods (2), coffee filters (2), coffee packs (2), sugar (4), cream (4), hand soap, trash liners (4 – 2 small and 2 large) and salt & pepper. Any additional supplies are the responsibility of the guest to supply.
- I agree to notify owner as soon as possible if anything in the unit is not in working order during my stay.
- Items left by guests will be mailed back by owner upon request. UPS professional packaging and shipping will be utilized if item is heavy/breakable. Smaller unbreakable items will be sent back via USPS Priority Mail utilizing their boxes/envelopes. Guest is responsible for cost/cost will be subtracted from security deposit
- I understand that owner will send me necessary unit information via email at least 7 days prior to my scheduled arrival.
