"Stairway to Heaven" Terms and Conditions

BOOKING TRANSACTIONYou are entering into a rental agreement directly with the owner. By booking this property, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following terms.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE - Check-in is 4:00 pm. Check-out is 10:00 am EST. There will be no refunds due to cabin not being ready for check-in at 4:00 pm during peak season.

KEYLESS ENTRY -You will receive an e-mail with directions and access key code one week prior to your arrival.

CANCELLATIONS/ REFUNDS - Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival will receive 100 refund. Cancellations 30-60 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund. No refund will be issues if cancaled within 30 days prior to arrival.

The cabin will be inspected prior to your arrival to ensure that all equipment is in good working order. In the event of a mechanical failure, we will make every effort to have all reported malfunctions corrected as promptly as possible. The property owner will not be obligated to give replacements or refunds in the event of failure or absence of any item, or for any public utility. No refunds will be given due to early departure. This includes departures due to inclement weather. You are responsible for the entire booking once your reservation has been made.


MAINTENANCE We, the property owner, strives to keep our vacation home in excellent shape. If you notice any problems or maintenance issues, please notify us immediately.

PETS – Stairway to Heaven does not allow pets. If a pet has been on premises, a $250 deep cleaning fee will be assessed and guests will be subject to immediate eviction, forfeiting reservation and deposit.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - Local fire codes have established maximum of 10 occupants for our cabin. Failure to adhere to these maximums may result in fine of $25 per person, per day and forfeiting reservation and deposit. Must be over 25 to reserve. No youth groups or sports teams or house parties. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will incur a fine and guests will be asked to leave cabin immediately, forfeiting reservation and deposit.

INDEMNIFICATION & HOLD HARMLESS – You agree to indemnify and hold harmless your Host for any liabilities, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with your use and/or occupancy of the Vacation Rental, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, loss of personal belongings or theft of property which is made, incurred or sustained by you and/or anyone you invite to use the Vacation Rental as your guest.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – You assume full responsibility for all damages, excessive cleaning charges, or any missing items including linens and towels. Please read the departure instructions posted in the cabin.

CLEANLINESS You are expected to treat the Vacation Rental with respect, keeping in mind that this is an individual’s home, not a hotel room. Even though a cleaning fee is charged, you are expected to leave the Vacation Rental in a clean, neat and orderly condition.

HOT TUBS AND COVERS - Housekeeping will drain, clean, disinfect and inspected the hot tub after each rental. If any items such as food, alcohol, soaps or bath products, etc. are found in the hot tub, guest will be charged. Damage to any cover will result in a $350 charge. Covers should remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use. Housekeeping Use of hot tub is at your own risk. Pregnant women and those with pre-existing health conditions are advised against using the hot tub.

FIREPLACE - Fireplace is available from November 1 through February 28 only. Please adhere to this policy. Firewood may be purchased at any grocery store or Walmart.

SECURITY SYSTEM AND CAMERAS – The cabin is protected by exterior security cameras and alarm system for the sole purpose of protecting the owner’s property.

DRIVING CONDITIONS - Most roads in our area are well maintained, but they are curvy. While these roads are routinely maintained, inclement weather may make them impassable. Winter road conditions and maintenance are not guaranteed. We do not refund due to road conditions. You are responsible for your transportation.

STARTUP SUPPLIES – Linens, blankets, pillows, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, dishtowels, dish cloths are provided, as well as a starter supply of dish liquid, automatic dishwasher detergent, bath soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash can liners. You may need to replenish these start up supplies during your stay.

SMOKING - Absolutely no smoking is permitted inside the cabin- NO EXCEPTIONS. If you smoke on the deck, please do not throw your butts on the ground.

LOST AND FOUND PERSONAL PROPERTY - We, the property owner, are not responsible for personal property left behind, stolen or damaged during your stay. Never leave valuables (cash, wallets, jewelry, cameras, etc.) unattended. If you find you have left something behind, call us and we will try to locate the missing item(s). If the item(s) is located it will be returned to you COD.

RIGHT OF ENTRY - The guest agrees that the OWNER or his AGENT shall have the right to enter into the premises, or any part thereof, for the purpose of examining the same or making repairs or alterations deemed necessary.
