My very Beautiful Lake House is located just minutes to downtown Pigeon Forge and minutes to Dollywood. We have it all...from a huge walk in shower in the master bedroom to a large dock at the waters edge and beautiful sunset views over the water from our deck with enough room for 8 people comfortably at the dining room table and 4 more seats next to it at the bar top counter . For the kids, they can use the lower level game room with foosball table and a game table and games for family fun. So many things to do at the Lake House, you don't even need to leave the Lake House. You want private but yet close to town, then that is what you get... **Remember** We provide the linens and towels only...Sorry, no sundries (soaps, shampoos, bath tissue, etc.) provided....
Douglas Lake is located only a few minutes from Pigeon Forge and also to Gatlinburg and to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is know as "The Gateway to the Smokies". This area attracts millions of visitors each year, who come to Gatlinburg for the beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the surrounding area. If you're planning your next vacation in Our area, plan ahead! most of the time you can save money, and get exactly what you're looking for before you arrive. There are plenty of activities to make your vacation one to remember, such as hiking, rafting, horseback riding, shopping, music theaters, mini golf, several 18 hole golf courses, fine restaurants, craft stores, and much more. The busy season for our area is When ever public school is out on break. During the summer time of the year The area of Douglas Lake and Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg comes alive and people fill the sidewalks, and streets and even Douglas Lake. Weekend travel is quite a challenge with more people coming than going, but they still seem to make their way in to begin their Vacation. October in East Tennessee is truly the highlight of the season. All the fall colors painting the Smoky Mountains is truly beauty at it's best. Bring a lot of film because there are just no words that can describe what you will see. November through March is the perfect time to run away for the weekend. This time of the year, It is less crowded here and you can save a great deal on lodging as it gets later into the season. The winters are not very harsh, rather they are usually mild. There are times when we will get some snow, it usually won't last long, but it sure is beautiful when it does. There are even golf course that stay open year round. So don't just think of Us as a Spring, Summer, or Fall vacation, but rather a any time vacation...NOTE: Douglas Lake water levels do vary depending on the time of year. May to September water level are kept high by TVA so the dock is usually floating during this time. Outside of those dates the water can be hit and miss.
